Ocean Kayaks Prowler 13 is a great and well designed fishing kayak. The Prowler 13 is one of the the most popular fishing kayaks sold in the uk and offers almost everthing that a kayak angler would want out of a SOT, Its a very stable fishing platform that can handle some bad seas, it is highly manoeuvrable on the water,it has exceptional tracking, and is light to handle both on and off the water.
The build of the of the p13 is rotomoulded monolink polyethylene and is incredibly durable, the length is 13"4 (4.1m) it weighs 54lbs (24.5kg) and is capable of carrying 400-450lbs (181-204kg) it has a large bow hatch to store some of your gear in, a 6" watertight centre hatch with storage bucket and a large rear tankwell where you can put a crate to hold all your kit wich is secured with a bungee, it also has paddle keeps on both sides of the kayak
Other features are 2 flush mounted rod holders, a tackle box, drink/cup holder moulded footwells grab rope all around the kayak and m5 screw inserts to take a rudder and all sorts of other deck fittings including scotty rod holders. the design of the hull as been done in accordance with the hummingbird fishfinder/plotter kit it has a special recess on the bottom of the hull beneith the cup holder to take the hummingbird transducer.
so to sum it all up having owned for some time now they are a brillient all rounder.
