Skwoosh Kayak seat
Hi Guys
Just thought I would let you know how I got on with the Skwoosh seat I recently purchased.
I bought the Skwoosh Supreme Pro Angler as I really liked the features (there are 2 slightly cheaper models in the range)
This seat comes with a detachable bag which holds 3 tackle boxes (Plano boxes included in price)and handy 1 clip opening. The bag is clipped at 4 points to the rear of the seat or can be removed and stored in one of your hatches
The 3 tackle boxes gave me ample room for all of my tackle including leads and lures etc
At the rear of the seat is a rod/Net holder which has a clip to attach either to the seat.
The back of the seat is nice and high and gives great lumber support without restricitng movement (I overtightened the seat initially and found this restrictive due to the curve of the backrest but was easy to loosen off on the water).
The base of the seat has a patented gel inside the seat which I found gave me fantastic comfort and definitley would allow me to fish for longer. The base of the seat is also larger than other seats I have tried which helped again with comfort
The seats are fantastic quality and require no maintenance
All in all I would recommend these seats to anyone looking to upgrade from some of the less comfortable model seats and wanting hours of comfort on the water
I bought mine from White Water Consultancy ( http://www.wwc.co.uk/contact.php ) at a cost of £139.00 which while this may seem expensive this is the top of the Skwoosh range seat and given the cost of setting up to kayak fish and the importance of being comfortable if you are going out for hours is in my opinion reasonable and money well spent
I did search online in case they were cheaper there however, the only place cheaper was importing them from the USA (around $140.00) however, by the time you pay for delivery and (if HM Customs see it is new) the dreaded import duty it wouldn't have worked out any cheaper
Definitley a 10 out of 10 from me!!
