Parking info : Pay and Display Car Park.
Directions :
- Take exit 48 on the M4 to Llanelli.
- Follow the signs to Llanelli until you come to a big roundabout (Trostre parc with Tesco).
- Follow the signposted coastal route to North Dock (the exit after the one for the Trostre parc). Follow the directions to Carmarthen.
- You will eventually see a sign labeled “North Dock”. Turn left over the bridge and follow road over speed bumps.
- The general car park is on your left.
- There is a water reservoir on your right.
Launch points : There is a slipway from the disabled car park leading directly on to sandy beach. Kayak trolley recommended as it is a bit of a trek from car park.
Facilities : The Millenium Coastal Park offers a tourist office, coffee shop and toilets which is situated right at the beach front, again accessed through the disabled car park.
Extras : Opposite the beach they have developed a locked water section which is ideal for watersports. It is free to access and at 4ft maximum depth an ideal training ground.
Expected Species : Flounder, Mullet, Eels, Bass(Nursery restriction applies at certain times of year).
