The Oxwich Kayak Fishing Competition has been a flagship event for SWKA since it first launched in 2010. What began as a small gathering of passionate kayak anglers has grown into the largest kayak fishing competition in the UK, attracting competitors from every corner of the country and beyond.
Set against the stunning backdrop of Oxwich Bay on the Gower Peninsula, the event has become one of the most anticipated weekends in the kayak fishing calendar. The sheltered waters, diverse species, and friendly but competitive atmosphere make Oxwich a favourite for newcomers and seasoned anglers alike.

The Saturday night social has become legendary in its own right. After a day on the water, everyone comes together for an evening that includes:

The Famous Massive Raffle
No Oxwich weekend would be complete without the famous SWKA massive raffle — known across the UK kayak fishing community for its huge prize table and incredible support from our sponsors. It’s one of the biggest raffles in the sport and a highlight of the entire event.
