1. Introduction

Welcome to the South Wales Kayak Anglers (SWKA)! By becoming a member, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

2. Membership Benefits

As an SWKA member, you’ll enjoy the following benefits:

Be part of a community that promotes safe and responsible kayak fishing.
Access to the SWKA Forum, including the members’ area.
Eligibility for the Fish of the Month competition with prizes for full members.
Discounts on courses, such as the VHF radio license course.
Selected discounts at various retailers.
Tailored liability insurance for kayak fishing (a similar individual policy would cost over £40).

3. Code of Conduct

3.1 Ethical Behaviour

Comply with the Law: Members must adhere to all relevant laws and regulations.
No Bribery or Corruption: Avoid any form of bribery or corruption.
Fair Competition: Engage in fair and respectful competition during SWKA events.

3.2 Respectful Interaction

Avoid Conflict of Interest: Disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
Maintain Confidentiality: Respect the privacy of other members and protect sensitive information.
No Harassment or Discrimination: Treat fellow members with respect and kindness.

3.3 Safety and Environment

Protect Health and Safety: Follow safety guidelines during kayak fishing activities.
Environmental Responsibility: Practice responsible fishing and environmental stewardship.

4. Membership Fees

The annual membership fee is £27.
Payment can be made through the SWKA website.

5. Dispute Resolution

In case of disputes, SWKA will follow a fair and transparent resolution process.

6. Acceptance

By joining SWKA, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these terms and conditions. If you disagree with any part of them, please refrain from using our services.
